Staraptor/Skarmory Hyper Offense

DoublesRegulation Set M-B

Synergy

Whimsicott's Charm and Tailwind fuel Mega Staraptor, while Mega Skarmory covers the Charizard, Floette, and Aerodactyl trio that otherwise gives the rest of the team trouble. Sylveon's Roar is the team's answer to Trick Room since everything else wants to play fast.

Win Conditions

Lead Whimsicott and Staraptor to threaten an immediate Charm-boosted sweep, or pivot into Basculegion and Garchomp under Tailwind, or bring Skarmory in against a slower Charizard, Floette, or Aerodactyl core, depending on what the opponent brings.

Lead Options

Whimsicott + Staraptor, Basculegion + Garchomp, Basculegion + Sylveon

Threats

Sylveon's Roar exists specifically because the team is so fast-paced that it will normally lose if an opposing Trick Room gets set up, meaning a fast, well-protected Trick Room setter is the clearest danger the video calls out.
