Synergy

Oranguru pairs with Mega Drampa as the engine of the team: Instruct doubles Drampa's Calm Mind or Hyper Voice in a single turn, letting it snowball under Trick Room. Sinistcha provides a second Trick Room setter, Rage Powder redirection, and Hospitality healing to keep Drampa in range for repeated Berserk activations. Sylveon and Torkoal serve as alternate spread sweepers instructed by Oranguru when the matchup demands Fairy or Fire coverage instead of Normal.

Win Conditions

Set up Trick Room via Oranguru or Sinistcha, then use Calm Mind + Instruct on turn one to give Mega Drampa two boosts in one turn. From turn two onward, cycle Hyper Voice + Instruct for back-to-back spread knockouts. Sinistcha healing resets Drampa's HP to trigger Berserk repeatedly, compounding the special attack advantage. Torkoal and Sylveon provide fallback Instruct targets when opponents resist Normal-type spread.

Threats

Bulky Fairy types (Mega Floette, Calm Mind Sylveon) threaten Drampa with super-effective damage and are hard to OHKO without two or more boosts. Wide Guard users (Aerodactyl, Pelipper, Aegislash) completely block spread moves and also wall Drampa since it cannot use Earth Power into them. Taunt from Whimsicott, Incineroar, or Moushold shuts down Trick Room on turn one. Imprison on opposing Sinistcha or Frigibax locks out Trick Room entirely. Bulky Ghost types are immune to Hyper Voice and take minimal Earth Power damage, stalling out the Trick Room turns.
