Oranguru is the engine of this team, combining Trick Room support with Instruct to double Mega Drampa's moves each turn. Inner Focus prevents Fake Out from interrupting Trick Room setup, and Colbur Berry halves Dark-type damage so Oranguru can lead safely into King Gambit, the most common threat in the format. Calm nature with SP in HP and Def gives it the bulk to survive common doubles and set up Trick Room. Foul Play and Psychic provide offensive presence when Instruct targets are unavailable.
