Pyroar/Scrafty Sun Trick Room

DoublesRegulation Set M-B

Synergy

Torkoal's Drought and Scrafty's Intimidate support two separate game plans: a fast Sun mode leading Torkoal with Venusaur or Pyroar, or a Trick Room mode leading Scrafty and Farigiraf, with Mamoswine sliding into either as a late-game closer.

Win Conditions

Under Sun, Pyroar and Venusaur burst down the fairies and fire-weak Pokemon that threaten Scrafty; under Trick Room, Scrafty and Pyroar hit hard behind Farigiraf's setup while Mamoswine cleans up whichever mode the game ends in.

Lead Options

Torkoal + Venusaur, Torkoal + Pyroar, Scrafty + Farigiraf

Threats

Mega Scrafty's clearest weak matchup, called out directly in the video, is Mega Floette. The team leans on double Fire-type resistance from Pyroar and Torkoal plus Venusaur's Sludge Bomb and Helping Hand to scare it away rather than beat it head-on.
