Whimsicott is the primary speed control option, using Prankster to give Tailwind and Taunt above-priority status. Focus Sash guarantees at least one Tailwind setup unless hit by a Fake Out plus follow-up combo. Taunt shuts down opposing Trick Room setters and can lock Pokémon into Protect via Encore. Moonblast gives an attacking option when Whimsicott itself is taunted. The 2 SpA investment corrects an acknowledged build error and rounds the spread to exactly 66 SP.
