Whimsicott is the engine that makes Mega Staraptor dangerous. Prankster gives Tickle priority, so it can boost Staraptor's Attack and Defense by +1 each before any opponent moves. Fake Tears is the secondary support move, lowering special defense on targets for Gholdengo or Typhlosion-Hisui to burst down. Tailwind doubles the whole team's speed for mid-game pressure. Focus Sash ensures Whimsicott survives at least one hit to deliver its support. Max SpA investment lets Moonblast threaten dark types and other off-angle targets.
