Weavile is the team's fastest Fake Out user, running near-maxed Attack and Speed SP with a Focus Sash to guarantee it survives an incoming hit and gets a move off even against faster threats. Knock Off strips items while Triple Axel and Low Kick punish the Steel and Rock types that otherwise wall Scolipede and Ceruledge. Jolly keeps it ahead of most of the format, and Pickpocket occasionally nabs a held item off an opposing attacker for extra value. It opens matches by disrupting the opposing lead so a teammate can freely set up Swords Dance or Bulk Up.
