Toxapex is one of the bulkiest Pokemon in the format, and this spread splits investment between physical and special defense to make it difficult to knock out quickly from either side. Leading with it lets the team start trapping a Pokemon with Infestation and poisoning it with Toxic before it can escape, while Baneful Bunker punishes contact moves and Wide Guard covers spread attacks. Regenerator heals it back up on every switch, letting it stay oppressive across a full game.
