Pelipper is the team's rain engine, using Drizzle to set rain automatically upon entering and enabling Mega Swampert's Swift Swim and Archaludon's instant Electro Shot. Modest nature and Speed investment lets it outpace max-speed Mega Froslass and max-speed Sneasler under Tailwind. Hurricane and Weather Ball deal solid damage to many common Pokemon without Life Orb, while Tailwind doubles the team's Speed for 4 turns. Wide Guard blocks spread moves that threaten the dual mega core, and Sitrus Berry provides a mid-battle recovery option since Pelipper lacks Protect.
