Pelipper is the engine of the team, auto-setting rain with Drizzle the moment it steps onto the field. Modest nature with high SpD investment and Sitrus Berry keeps it alive long enough to set Tailwind and fire off Weather Ball or Hurricane. Wide Guard is increasingly valuable as the meta shifts toward spread moves, blocking Rock Slides and Discharges that would otherwise punish the double-Flying lead. The 1 Spe point is a creep investment to outrun specific threats at base speed.
