Ninetales (Alola)

Timid Ninetales-Alola holds Focus Sash to guarantee it lives long enough to set snow, which gives Blizzard perfect accuracy and turns Jolteon's Weather Ball into an Ice-type nuke capable of one-shotting Garchomp. Maxed Special Attack and Speed with a small HP buffer let it also threaten damage directly rather than acting as pure support. Freeze-Dry punishes the Water types that would otherwise wall the team's Fire and Electric attackers. Roar is a dedicated Trick Room answer, forcing out a setter before the room goes up, and it doubles as a way to patch the team's shared weakness to Ground types.
