This Milotic skips the more common Coil and Hypnosis for a fairly unique set. Icy Wind provides speed control while also dealing solid damage into Garchomp, and Haze is valuable given how common setup sweepers like Mega Blastoise, Mega Floette, and Mega Delphox are this season, including the ability to reset Gholdengo's own Make It Rain drops. Competitive means bringing Intimidate against Tyranitar or Excadrill just hands Milotic a free Special Attack boost, and it can often take over a match once it reaches plus two.
