Incineroar runs a more offensive configuration than typical, trading Safety Goggles for White Herb to negate opposing Intimidate drops and the Defense drop from its own Close Combat. Brave nature with maximum HP and investment to the Attack jump point keeps it bulky while hitting hard. Fake Out creates the safe turn needed for Klefki or Hatterene to set Trick Room, and Intimidate softens physical threats on arrival. Darkest Lariat ignores stat changes, Flare Blitz provides Fire coverage, and Close Combat targets opposing Incineroar and King's Gambit, both common threats in the format.
