Mega Hawlucha is the engine of this team. Its primary job is to mega evolve on turn one so its ability becomes No Guard, then use Entrainment to transfer No Guard to Snorlax. Jolly nature with 32 SP in Speed ensures it outspeeds as much of the field as possible to act before opponents can disrupt the combo. The 2 SP in Attack is residual after capping HP and Speed. Cross Chop and Dual Wingbeat provide meaningful offensive output against meta threats like King Gambas and Sneezler, while Detect keeps it safe on turns when the opponent goes for the lead fake out.
