Gholdengo carries very little Special Attack or Speed investment for a Pokemon usually built to be fast and explosive, leaning into Defense and HP instead so it can survive physical attacks far better than opponents anticipate. Good as Gold blocks status disruption while it sets up Nasty Plot, and Life Orb ensures the payoff is still real once it does. Milotic's own Haze is there specifically to reset any Special Attack drops from repeated Make It Rain use.
