Mega Dragonite is a genuinely solid pick thanks to Multiscale absorbing one big hit at full HP, but Haze is what makes this build stand out. It can single-handedly win against teams that take a long time to commit to boosting their stats, and it also clears Gholdengo's own Special Attack drops from repeated Make It Rain use. Modest with max HP and solid Special Attack keeps Draco Meteor and Thunderbolt threatening, and it's a second source of Tailwind alongside Aerodactyl.
