Mega Charizard Y provides a powerful Heat Wave spread damage option for matchups where Gardevoir's Fairy-type coverage is insufficient, particularly against Steel-types like Corviknight and threats that set Aurora Veil. Solar Power under its own Drought doubles down on special attack output under sun. Dragon Pulse offers single-target coverage, and Weather Ball becomes a boosted Fire move in sun. Modest with 32 Speed and 31 SpA SP maximizes both offense and the ability to move first under Tailwind. The author used this slot frequently as the primary Gardevoir replacement.
