Choice Scarf with Jolly nature and maxed Speed lets it outpace almost everything in the format, while Adaptability doubles the STAB modifier on Wave Crash for devastating Water-type damage amplified further by rain. Last Respects scales in power for each fainted ally, making Basculegion-M increasingly threatening as the match progresses. Flip Turn provides momentum and safe pivoting. Aqua Jet gives a priority option against threats that would otherwise outpace it or survive a Wave Crash. Minimal Def investment keeps it alive against priority moves.
