The team's core is Mega Sceptile's Lightning Rod ability combined with Choice Scarf Rotom-Heat's Discharge, which simultaneously gives Sceptile free Special Attack boosts while spreading chip damage and paralysis. Aerodactyl provides Tailwind and Wide Guard support, letting the rest of the team outspeed under wind while protecting Discharge from friendly fire. Garchomp and Basculegion round out the team as powerful physical attackers that punish anything resistant to the Lightning Rod core.

Win Conditions

Get Mega Sceptile a Lightning Rod boost via Rotom-Heat Discharge, then sweep with +1 Earth Power and Dragon Pulse. Tailwind from Aerodactyl supports the back line and secures Speed control when Sceptile cannot lead. Basculegion cleans up late game under Tailwind with Last Respects.
