Vanilluxe is the engine of the team: Snow Warning triggers on entry to set hail and enable 100 percent accurate Blizzard for the whole team. Choice Scarf with Timid nature and 32 SpA plus 32 Spe makes it faster than virtually every non-Scarfed Pokemon in the format, so it can click Aurora Veil or Blizzard on turn one before anything can move. Freeze-Dry handles Water types that would otherwise laugh at ice coverage, and Icy Wind offers speed control when locking into Blizzard would be suboptimal.
