This Mega Tyranitar runs full Speed investment rather than the usual defensive spread. An offensive Dragon Dance sweeper instead of a slow weather setter. Sand Stream activates Sandstorm on Mega Evolution, enabling Excadrill's Sand Rush. Dragon Dance at +1 Speed lets Jolly max-Speed Tyranitar outrun most of the format. Rock Slide provides spread flinch pressure in Sand. Crunch is reliable Dark STAB. The 2 HP EVs hit a Sandstorm chip survival threshold. A build that deliberately subverts expectations of what Tyranitar is supposed to do.
