Hisui Typhlosion fills the team's fire-type damage slot with Choice Scarf to outpace even opposing Scarfers like Basket Legion and Garchomp, unleashing full-power Eruption before taking damage. Max SpA and Spe SP with Modest ensures maximum Eruption output, which pairs naturally with Whimsicott's Sunny Day to further boost fire damage. Heat Wave and Overheat provide coverage when HP drops have weakened Eruption, and Shadow Ball catches ghost-weak targets. Blaze is used over Frisk here in the original paste, though James substituted Frisk for ladder play to scout closed team sheets.
