Build Notes

Torkoal is the sun engine for the team's non-Trick-Room mode, pairing with Vileplume's After You to fire off a fully boosted Eruption before the opponent can respond. Quiet nature with maxed HP and Special Attack keeps it durable while maximizing Eruption's damage at full health, and Charcoal adds extra Fire type power on top of its own Drought boosted sun. Weather Ball becomes a strong secondary Fire move under its own sun, and Heat Wave offers spread damage into stall or slower switches. Protect lets it stall out sun in the endgame once the early burst has done its job.
