Build Notes

Torkoal fills two roles simultaneously: passively boosting Chandelure's Heat Wave the moment it enters via Drought, and acting as a Trick Room sweeper in its own right. Eruption at full HP under Sun and Trick Room is one of the highest raw damage outputs available to any Pokemon in the format. Helping Hand stacks multipliers on top of Chandelure's already boosted spread attacks. Weather Ball becomes a 100 BP Fire move under Drought, giving Torkoal a reliable secondary attack at lower HP when Eruption weakens. Torkoal's naturally low speed makes it the ideal Trick Room partner for the team's slower-mode games.
