The bulky SP spread (20 HP, 10 Atk, 21 Def) lets it survive Earthquake and Wave Crash from Basculegion, enabling Aurora Veil turns. Fake Out facilitates Kingambit's Swords Dance setup or Kleavor's Stone Axe turn. Dire Claw threatens Poison and Paralysis statuses to further disrupt opponents. Adamant nature maximizes damage output despite the lower Atk investment.
