Close Combat deals super-effective damage to King Gambit, the Pokemon Wolfey identified as one of the biggest threats to Chandelure and Kangaskhan due to its Sucker Punch priority. Unburden doubles Sneasler's Speed after the held item is consumed, creating a secondary fast-mode attacker outside Tailwind. Dire Claw delivers consistent physical pressure with a chance to inflict sleep, poison, or paralysis. Dual Fake Out alongside Kangaskhan lets the team flinch two separate threats on the same turn or split disruption across both opposing Pokemon.
