Adamant nature with maxed Attack SP ensures Iron Head OHKOs Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Floette, while Rock Tomb OHKOs Mega Charizard-Y and also drops its Speed. The Speed SP investment lets it outpace many common threats even without Tailwind. Sturdy provides a guaranteed survival turn when at full HP, enabling at least one crucial KO before the opponent can respond. Taunt shuts down support Pokemon like Ferrothorn or Mudsdale leads. Brave Bird handles targets not covered by the other moves.
