Sinistcha is the primary support slot for Gyarados. Hospitality heals a partner by 25% HP when it enters, giving Gyarados or another teammate a free recovery. Rage Powder redirects incoming attacks away from Gyarados so it can Dragon Dance safely, while Life Dew heals both active Pokemon. Matcha Gotcha offers spread damage with a healing side effect on hit. Maximum HP and Special Defense investment with Calm nature makes it resilient to special hits so it can survive long enough to redirect and heal. Sitrus Berry provides extra sustain when Hospitality is already spent.
