Sableye uses Prankster to give all status moves +1 priority, allowing Reflect, Thunder Wave, and Quash to fire before any opposing action. Sassy nature with 32 HP and 32 SpD SP creates maximum special bulk, and Roseli Berry halves incoming Fairy-type damage for one hit, protecting against the prevalent Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam in the format. Reflect reduces physical damage for both Sableye and its partner, dramatically improving Charizard's survivability. Foul Play uses the opponent's Attack stat, dealing serious damage to physical attackers like Garchomp without investment. Quash delays a fast threat by one turn, enabling Charizard to outspeed with a boosted Heat Wave on the following turn.
