Bold nature with HP and Defense SP investment lets it absorb physical hits and activate Sitrus Berry for sustained presence, and the Speed investment lands one point above standard Adamant Basket Legion to avoid speed ties with Gholdengo. Hydro Pump applies strong Water pressure against Fire-types and Tyranitar checks, Thunderbolt handles bulky Waters, and early burn chip from Will-O-Wisp enables Excadrill and Gholdengo to pick up KOs that would otherwise fall out of range.
