Rotom-Heat is the team's speed control pivot and answer to Mega Froslass and Corviknight, two threats the rest of the team cannot easily handle. Choice Scarf lets it outspeed both before they act, landing Overheat for the KO. Volt Switch on a Charizard Y mega evolution brings in Tyranitar to cancel sun and trigger Dynamic Speed for Excadrill, a three-piece combo that flips a weather war instantly. Electroweb applies speed control without being locked into Overheat. Trick punishes passive teams. The spread, credited to Michael Kelsh, maximizes HP for repeated switch-ins while 7 SpA hits key damage thresholds.
