Politoed

Politoed is the team's weather anchor, using Drizzle to automatically set Rain and neutralize the Fire-type attacks and weather from Charizard, Venusaur, and Froslass that would otherwise punish the team's two grass types and Mega Lucario. Calm nature and investment in HP and SpD give it enough bulk to survive hits and contribute over multiple turns. Muddy Water is the primary offensive option with an accuracy-drop chance. Icy Wind provides speed control as a backup when Tailwind is not active. Helping Hand amplifies adjacent attackers, and Quick Claw occasionally grants additional turn-order surprises.
