Jet Punch is priority Water STAB that bypasses Speed disadvantages regardless of form, ensuring damage regardless of whether Tailwind is active. Wave Crash delivers enormous Water STAB at recoil cost. In Hero form, the damage output is substantial. Close Combat handles Steel and Rock types that resist Water. Mystic Water amplifies all Water moves. Adamant maxed Attack with significant Speed investment. Protect for safe turns. Under Tailwind, Palafin Hero operates at doubled Speed alongside already-high offensive stats. Cycling out early to establish Hero form enables dramatically stronger late-game pressure.
