Ninetales-Alola's Rain Dance looks strange on a Snow team at first glance, but it's a deliberate tech against Mega Charizard, which normally feels completely safe into a Snow attacker. Clicking Rain Dance suddenly makes Charizard far less effective, especially paired with Mega Dragonite next to it. Never-Melt Ice still boosts Blizzard and Freeze-Dry the rest of the time, and Timid with Special Attack and Speed investment keeps it a genuine offensive threat, not just a support piece.
