Alolan Ninetales is the engine of the team, using Snow Warning to auto-set hail and immediately threatening Aurora Veil to halve damage for four turns. Timid with max SpA and Spe SP ensures it moves first against most threats and hits as hard as possible when firing Blizzard under hail or Freeze-Dry against Water types. Focus Sash guarantees at least one action even if it is targeted, making it reliable as a turn-one Veil setter. The combination of hail chip damage and the Veil screen puts enormous pressure on opponents to deal with the team's threats immediately.
