Maushold uses Follow Me to redirect attacks away from the mega sweeper while Friend Guard passively reduces all damage the sweeper takes from spread moves by 25 percent. Impish nature with 32 HP and 20 Def SP plus Chople Berry lets it survive Fighting-type moves like Close Combat that would otherwise threaten a Normal-type hard. Super Fang halves any opponent's HP regardless of bulk, and Feint breaks Protect to secure knockouts when the sweeper is fully set up.
