Leftovers offsets both sand chip and the 33% HP cost from Clangorous Soul, sustaining through multiple setup turns. Modest max Speed outruns base 130s including Mega Aerodactyl and Mega Gengar before they act. After Clangorous Soul boosts all stats by one stage, Clanging Scales fires as a spread dragon nuke while Aura Sphere punishes Steel types that resist it.
