Chople Berry softens Fighting-type attacks, improving matchups against Low Kick and Close Combat users. Defiant punishes Intimidate from Incineroar and similar support, turning a stat drop into an Attack boost. Kowtow Cleave is the reliable STAB spread while Sucker Punch provides priority and Low Kick targets heavier targets. Under Tailwind, Kingambit can clean late game when the opponent is weakened.
