Incineroar provides the second Fake Out on the team and layers Intimidate pressure on top of Gyarados for repeated physical attack reduction through Parting Shot cycling. Taunt shuts down setup moves and support options such as Calm Mind, Coaching, or redirection, catching opponents off guard and preserving tempo for the team's own sweepers. Careful nature with 23 Spe SP gives it a higher-than-expected speed tier, making the Taunt more likely to land before opponents can act. Shuca Berry reduces incoming Ground-type damage, increasing survivability against the common Earthquake threats in the format.
