High-speed pivot that uses Choice Scarf and Shed Tail to safely deliver a substitute to any of the team's four setup sweepers, creating a free turn for Dragon Dance, Nasty Plot, or Swords Dance. Glare spreads paralysis to cripple opposing speed control leads. Timid nature with 32 Speed SP and Choice Scarf lets Heliolisk outrun nearly everything in the format. Dry Skin negates rain-based threats and restores HP in rain, and Normal typing makes it immune to Ghost-type priority like Last Respects.
