Gholdengo's Spell Tag is built specifically around Shadow Ball, and a plus two Shadow Ball with that item is a ridiculous amount of damage even against resistant targets. Make It Rain is the spread option when the angle lines up against both opponents. Good as Gold makes it immune to status disruption while it sets up Nasty Plot, and resisting Fairy damage while threatening Fairies back is huge given how common Whimsicott and Mega Floette are this season.
