Garchomp runs a standard Jolly max Attack, max Speed spread with White Herb to negate any one-time stat drop, most often used to absorb an Intimidate and still fire at full Attack. Rock Tomb over Rock Slide adds speed control, which the transcript specifically calls out as important given rising Yveltal usage. Earthquake provides spread damage and pairs well with Talonflame's Flying typing, which makes it immune to the quake. Rough Skin chips contact attackers and Dragon Claw is reliable single-target Dragon STAB. Fits cleanly alongside Absol as a second high-speed physical threat under Tailwind.
