Garchomp is straightforward Jolly max Attack and Speed, now running Life Orb over the old Soft Sand for extra damage on every hit. Earthquake, Rock Slide's replacement in Stomping Tantrum, and Dragon Claw give full offensive coverage, with Protect buying time behind Tailwind. It's the team's cleanest wallbreaker, threatening the Pokemon that Aerodactyl and Charizard invite in, and its raw power means it doesn't need a supporting item to close out games once Mega Aerodactyl has set the tempo.
