Choice Scarf Garchomp is the team's fastest attacker and primary speed control outside of Tailwind, outspeeding nearly the entire meta with the Scarf boost. Adamant nature with near-max Attack (30 SP) and max Speed (32 SP) makes it an immediate offensive threat from turn one. Dragon Claw handles Garchomp and Dragon-type threats, Earthquake covers Ground-type pressure, Stomping Tantrum provides reliable Ground coverage when EQ is not ideal, and Rock Slide adds spread damage and flinch pressure against Flying and Fire types. Rough Skin punishes contact moves from physical attackers.
