Garchomp is the team's bulky physical closer, running Sitrus Berry and heavy HP investment rather than a max Attack Jolly spread so it can tank hits deep into the endgame. Rough Skin punishes contact moves, and the Sitrus recovery lets it survive combinations like a Life Orb Sucker Punch plus a quick attack that would otherwise finish a frailer Chomp. Earthquake and Rock Slide provide spread damage that pairs with Toxapex's Wide Guard, while Dragon Claw threatens rival Dragons. Protect buys time for Infestation and Toxic to keep working before Garchomp closes out a weakened target.
