Farigiraf's Armor Tail prevents the opponent from using priority moves, shutting down Fake Out cycling and Sucker Punch from King Gambit that would otherwise threaten Basculegion before it can attack. Bold nature with heavy HP and Defense investment lets it survive multiple hits while supporting the team. Helping Hand amplifies Basculegion's Wave Crash for guaranteed knockouts. Trick Room is available as a reverse-mode option, though the team rarely needs it given its natural speed. Thunderbolt covers opposing Basculegion and Mega Charizard. Sitrus Berry extends longevity so Farigiraf can block priority for multiple turns.
