Sand Rush doubles Excadrill's Speed under Sandstorm. With Jolly maxed Speed, Excadrill under Sand becomes the fastest Pokémon on the field. Iron Head covers Fairy and Ice types. Earthquake hits all adjacent Pokémon including allies; High Horsepower is the single-target safer Ground STAB for when teammates are adjacent. Focus Sash ensures at least one Sand Rush turn even against priority. Pairs with Rotom-Heat, whose Levitate makes it immune to Excadrill's Earthquake, for the classic Discharge plus Earthquake spread damage core.
