Mega Clefable is the team's Follow Me redirector and the justification for the Mega slot. Magic Bounce after evolution reflects Thunder Wave, Parting Shot, and other status moves that would otherwise cripple setup turns for Excadrill and Kommo-o. Modest with 32 HP and 17 Def SP lets it tank physical hits while drawing attention. The 11 SpA SP is enough to OHKO unboosted Garchomp with Moonblast and Sneasler with Air Slash. Flying typing is the practical payoff: Excadrill and Rotom-H can use Earthquake freely while Clefable redirects from the air.
