Basculegion carries a Choice Scarf here rather than the Life Orb or Sitrus Berry seen on other builds this season, giving the team a way to move first even without Whimsicott's Tailwind. Adaptability doubles its same-type damage, so Wave Crash and Last Respects both hit extremely hard. Jolly with max Speed and heavy Attack investment keeps it one of the fastest attackers on the team, and Flip Turn lets it pivot out safely once its target is dealt with.
