Choice Scarf Basculegion-Male is the meta backbone of the backline. Adaptability doubles Last Respects damage, making it an increasingly powerful nuke as Pokemon faint over the course of a match. Maxed Attack and Speed SP under a Choice Scarf lets it outspeed virtually all unboosted targets, and Aqua Jet provides priority cleanup for Focus Sash survivors. Flip Turn maintains momentum by pivoting out of bad matchups. Wave Crash is the raw power option when Last Respects count is low early-game.
